Delivery Information

Lead times vary depending on door type, configuration, and finish. Indicative lead times are confirmed in writing at quotation and order stage. Once an order has entered production, changes are not possible without affecting lead times.

Steel doors are delivered by specialist carriers using framed transport. Delivery is kerbside only. For insurance and health and safety reasons, drivers are unable to assist with moving doors beyond the delivery point.

Steel doors are heavy and require suitable manpower or mechanical assistance to offload safely. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery can be safely offloaded.

• Adequate personnel are present at delivery
• Suitable lifting equipment is available if required
• The delivery area is clear and accessible

Please ensure your site is prepared for delivery:

• Clear access for delivery vehicles
• Adequate space to offload and store doors
• Any site restrictions communicated in advance

All goods must be inspected on delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us immediately. Packaging should not be discarded until goods have been fully checked.

Steel doors should be stored:

• Indoors, in a dry and secure location
• Upright and supported correctly
• Protected from moisture, impact, and site traffic

If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues, lack of offloading assistance, or other preventable causes, re-delivery charges may apply.

We deliver throughout the UK mainland. Deliveries to remote or restricted locations may be subject to additional charges or extended lead times.

Steel doors, particularly FD30 fire rated steel doors, are precision manufactured products. Proper delivery handling helps ensure they arrive in perfect condition and perform as intended once installed.
